Brother Can You Spare a Dime

Formed in 1998, this talented group of singers won the CBC Radio Competition for Amateur Choirs in 2000. TNL has represented Ontario 13 times at the Barbershop Harmony Society’s International Chorus Competition, winning medals 12 times and earning consecutive silvers from 2001 to 2005. In 2013, in front of a hometown crowd at the Air Canada Centre, they won the International Chorus Competition’s gold medal.

TNL has also performed in Germany, England, Holland, and China. Most recently, this past April TNL headed to Europe on a “Gold Medal Tour” that saw them perform in England, Germany, and Sweden.

The chorus attracts members of all ages, backgrounds and employment. Although Toronto based, members also come from Montreal, Ottawa, London, Buffalo and Detroit!

TNL’s repertoire ranges from Barbershop to Broadway, Vocal Jazz to Doo-Wop and Gershwin to the Beatles. They have five CDs, including their most recent, “Dare To Dream”, and a two-disc DVD set, “Welcome to the Sandbox”.
